Great band great sound, the Blu Ray picure quality is fantastic and the sound quality is excellent. I never got to see these guys play so this has to be the next best thing! The Blu Ray also comes with a CD of the concert so you can't beat the price, it would be nice if other companies would include a CD along with their Blu Ray's. You can't go wrong with this concert it is really good!!

5 out of 5 stars A blast from the past for baby boomers Bad Company rocks!   February 15, 2010

Anybody who wants to argue that Paul Rodgers isn't the greatest blues rock voice of all time should watch this DVD...or his recent outings with Queen, or his Solo DVD or grab the FREE DVD from 40 years ago and then apologize. This is a very good set of Bad Company classics...filmed and recorded well and presented with a bonus CD...for less than the cost to park at a concert venue!!!

For once I can't really argue with the song selection and unlike the previous Bad Company DVD they stayed away from FREE material even though Simon Kirke (Drums) was in that group with Paul Rodgers as well. Mick Ralphs (the bands original guitarist and co songwriter on many of their classics) is on board for this DVD which is a nice bonus. Ralphs isn't going to be compared to Hendrix but he does have a strong pedigree (Mott The Hoople) and its obvious Rodgers was happy to have him there.

Overall...for anyone, particularly guys, who were high schoolers in the 70's this will bring back loads of fun and rockin memories...or a Rock n Roll Fantasy or two!!

5 out of 5 stars Add This to Your Collection   March 13, 2010

The reviewers here that claim poor sound, poor video need better equipment, enough said! I viewed this on my 110" home theater in a dedicated room with no windows (Epson 1080UB projector, Sunfire Theater Grand II processor, >2kW RMS power, 35 speakers in the room...)
The overall quality of this is very good, comparable to Rush R30. Paul Rodgers vocals are still amazing after all these years. Video quality is very good. Audio is also incredibly good. Only downside to this DVD concert is I would like for them to have played some tunes from their Rough Diamonds album (my favorite of theirs and not one song)

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely Great!   March 15, 2010

If you were a teen in the 70"s you will love being brought back to your high school days with Bad Co. They were good then and sound even better now.

5 out of 5 stars A Real Treat   March 29, 2010

I went to see this concert (8/8/08) and I went the following year. Orig. this disc was to be released in Dec. 08 or early 09...so i was chomping at the bit to see this. I also missed Palladia's viewing in Sept.(it's back on again though). This Blu-Ray was worth the wait.
This is flat out 2 of the best concerts I've been to and you'll not miss much by viewing in 1080p and listening in dts-HD Master. Bottom line here- if it doesn't look or sound good to you, it's time to upgrade your system.
